It's always a privilege to capture the milestones in the lives of those we know and cherish. This sentiment couldn't be more true than with my recent senior session with Mary Anne, who is a recent graduate from Lafayette High School. As part of my Senior Bundle offering, Mary Anne opted for two 1-hour sessions, one in summer and the other in fall.
Our first session took place in the flower fields at The Farmstead in Oxford, MS. The rows and rows of colorful flowers were absolutely stunning, but nothing held a candle to Mary Anne! She's such a gorgeous young woman. We had a blast wandering through the fields, enjoying the sunshine and celebrating her senior year.
It was particularly special to photograph Mary Anne because I've had the joy of watching her grow over the years at our church. She's blossomed in so many ways, especially spiritually. Today, she has become such a warm and caring person, so I can't think of a better way to showcase Mary Anne's accomplishments than with a Senior Session.
Without a doubt, Mary Anne has done so much to be proud of! Graduation is such a big time in a senior's life, and she has come out the other side with a strong dedication to the Lord and a passion for singing. She also enjoys working out and spending time with friends and family!
For soon-to-be graduates, Mary Anne has some awesome advice. "Always keep an open mind to new opportunities... you never know what is coming your way." This outlook is definitely going to take her far!
Surrounded by a sea of colorful blooms, I could feel Mary Anne's joy and excitement for the future. This fall, she will be attending Mississippi State University to study psychology with a minor in music. I can't wait to see what God has in store!
For the fall part of our Senior Bundle, we embraced the charm of Oxford, MS. We began at Rowan Oak, the historic home of William Faulkner. The autumnal hues and rustic elegance of the location was a gorgeous contrast to the summer session.
This location has such a different vibe, so it captures a whole other side to Mary Anne's Senior Year. I'm so glad that she'll have photos from two seasons to look back on as she remembers this chapter of her life. So much can change can happen in such a short period of time, but this is exactly why I offer the Senior Bundle!
During both of our sixty-minute photoshoots, we had plenty of time for an outfit change. These outfits were so cute! Mary Anne definitely chose the perfect wardrobe, complete with whimsical tule or puffs for the summer session and autumnal shades for the fall session.
She was fantastic to work with, effortlessly moving from pose to pose. Each shot seemed even better than the one before it! I knew before I even got home that these sessions were winners. Mary Anne shared the same sentiment, expressing that our Senior Bundle sessions were one of the highlights of her senior year.
Congratulations, Mary Anne! Your future is bound to be filled with amazing adventures and achievements. Thank you for choosing me to capture this special time in your life. It was an honor!
